(I actually didn't know about the escaped chimp in Connecticut...I thought it was suggesting that the stimulus bill was written by the proverbial "thousand monkeys at a thousand typewriters.) I didn't make the connection at all, and agree with Evan that any offense taken is more a reflection of the offended person than the cartoonist. The cartoon specifically says, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill." Obama didn't write the bill. How much clearer could the cartoonist be?
