Riding the Hell-bound Train just went on sale ten minutes ago.
Thanks for all of your patience, since took five months longer than I originally planned. I’ve got a new short-short story ready for the inaugural issue of the new, improved Urbanagora and am looking forward to a long and enjoyable run there.
Billy, Brian, Joshua–you’re the best.

Tom,
Congrats on the book; the cover is awesome!

Oh, very welcome, Jay. A local artist, Sean-Thomas Gunnell, did both covers. I’m a lot more fond of the back, which illustrates Gail and Brenn’s farm from the Titan stories.
Interesing economics point, which I didn’t expect. I get twice the royalties on downloads that I get on the paper copies. I feel great that saving trees brings me more money.
I originally planned on keeping the price below $25 and I was delighted to be able to give readers damn near 400 pages for $20. Peregrination Press has been extremely generous to me, as well as being helpful every step of the way. John Barnstead is an angel.
There is a lot less politics in the book than I had originally planned. If you look over the Table of Contents, you’ll find that just over 60% of the material in the book is Urbanagora published. A lot of the articles I wrote for the blog were just not good enough when it came time to decide what we used for the book and what we didn’t. If I was to guess, I say we used about half of my 2006-07 blog article output.
(You can see the Table of Contents by clicking on the number at the top of the page, over the book.)
