DI Opinions Blog Unveiled

In the sidebar you’ll notice a new link under the “University of Illinois Thinktank” section called “DI Opinions Blog.” I, along with recent additions to Urbanagora Jon Monteith and Lally Gartel, will be among the contributors to this new blog, along with the rest of the Daily Illini opinions staff. It will definitely be worth looking at. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to divide my posts between here and there, but when I have something to post I’ll probably just do it at whichever one needs a new post more. Just a heads up. Go check it out.

I love you too, mysterious stranger.

I don’t like this at all. I’ve really been enjoying the increased traffic on urbanagora – I wish the DI Blog could just link to your posts here.

Why the hell would anyone read over there when they could read us? We’re not restricted in what *we* can say. (or did they change the DI’s blogger policy)

Tom,
There aren’t any more restrictions on what I can say on that blog vs. what I can say on this one. The DI’s blogger policy is that I can’t write about the internal workings of the DI, on this blog or any other.
Otherwise, I can say whatever I want on the DI blog. I think there’s enough to discuss in the world that there’s room for both blogs to exist. Double the blogs means double the stimulating debate, I say.

This is an excellent progression for the DI! Kudos to you guys for doing this.
